Valera did a wonderful job on the 90 year old floor of our Choir room. He replaced 2 pieces of the flooring, sanded it, stained it to match the floor in the hallway , and then put on the Bona finish. It looks brand new!
There was no mess to clean up, no dust at all to wipe away. It was amazing!!!

It is extremely rare in today’s digital world to find true craftsmen to work on your home. Most “professionals” are only interested in how much they can charge and how fast they can finish. Valera and his team at European Fine Hardwoods, however, are a welcome exception. Valera, who apprenticed with flooring experts in Europe, works with great attention to detail, quality, and professionalism. He works for as long as it takes to do the job right, not for some fixed amount of time, and always asked for my approval before proceeding to the next stage of the project. Even something as mundane as a floor vent becomes impressive in Valera’s hands – he routers the floor to countersink a wood vent flush with the floor and stains it to match your color. I contracted Valera to both install and refinish a large amount of hardwood and I could not be more pleased with his work. You can hire anyone to refinish or install your floors, but if you want a true craftsman to do it you should hire Valera. I give him my highest recommendation.

I can not say enough positive things about Valera and his company, European Fine Hardwood Floors! If you have a chance to speak with him and use him for any type of hardwood flooring installation, you should definitely do so! You will not regret it and matter of fact, you’ll be overwhelmed with joy afterwards because his work is by far amazing, he has a talent that sets him apart from everyone else. Our home had carpet and lanoleam/stick down tile, after checking around and meeting with the big box store estimators, I knew then I had to find some true talent to do my house or I wouldn’t be satisfied. I wanted nothing but the best hardwood and installation team to do the job so I went to Google for help. After searching for a few minutes, I came across an article written on Valera who owns and operates European Fine Hardwood Floors and I immediately followed up by reviewing his pictures/projects on Facebook and that ultimately sealed my decision. He was quick to answer and within 24 hours was at my home doing an estimate and his professionalism shocked me! He went as far as pointing us in the right direction of where to purchase the hardwood and by doing so, it saved us hundreds of dollars! In addition to that, he worked from 8 am – 8:30 pm at night and then following up the next morning for several hours finishing the job. His professionalism is something you do not see anymore, his work is amazing and I felt comfortable with him in my house. I was actually sad to see them leave because they were so pleasant to deal with. He is the hardwood person you need to know for your projects. In addition to installation, he also does hardwood resurfacing. He has strong work ethic, professional mannerism, amazing prices, and a talent for hardwood that would be hard to match anywhere else. I will leave him reviews anywhere I can because I believe that everyone should know and use him for their hardwood needs!

Val just finished our sanding job this morning by replacing all the furniture. We had just under 600 sq. ft. of flooring sanded. We were very concerned about doing this because of the possibility of dust. When the sanding was done there was no dust. In addition the job they did was outstanding. Our floors look terrific, we are more than pleased. We would highly recommend them to you without hesitation. Besides doing a wonderful job Val and his wife and dad are sweet people. Hire them.

Had a great experience with European Fine Hardwood Floors. A family company who I was happy to have in my home. Great quality work, they take no shortcuts. They worked very long hours for several days to get the floors finished so our remodeling project could move forward. We switched up the plan on them and asked them to retile our laundry room, it was done very promptly and looks just as good as the hardwood.
